Program Overview

Your CIEE Summer Intern and Study Abroad program in Singapore lasts 6 weeks and features three key components: A part-time internship with an international organization (15-20 hours per week), an internship seminar, and a 3-credit academic course taught by CIEE faculty or online through CIEE’s global academic partner, ASU. Enhance your experience with cultural and extracurricular activities while building career skills, expanding your professional network, and immersing yourself in Singaporean culture. Live, learn, and work in Singapore!

Program Highlights

Excursions & Activities

CIEE’s excursions and cultural activities in Singapore will open doors for you to explore Singapore’s rich diversity, language, culture, history, contemporary trends, vibrant art, and timeless beauty in ways that will enhance your time abroad.     

Samples of past excursions and activities: 

  • Visit the world-famous Singapore Zoo, nestled within the lush Mandai rainforest and home to?more than 300 species of mammals, birds, and reptiles 
  • Take a day trip to Sentosa where you will learn about marine life and conservation efforts at S.E.A. Aquarium, one of the largest aquariums in the world, while exploring diverse ecosystems 
  • Explore Pulau Ubin where you can escape the hustle and bustle of urban Singapore and explore an offshore island well known as a popular destination for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers
